County Manager Pyle
Elected Secretary to the New Mexico Retiree Healthcare Authority

The New Mexico Retiree Healthcare Authority has elected Curry County Manager Lance Pyle as its Board Secretary. Pyle serves as the representative for New Mexico Counties and advocates on behalf of county employees statewide.

The Authority’s Board is comprised of 11 members who represent the interests of public employees across New Mexico, including those from cities, counties, and state agencies. Currently, the Authority provides insurance coverage to approximately 48,000 retirees and 64,000 retiree plus dependents, supported by contributions from 94,000 active employees. Of these, 3,583 are active county employees contributing to the program.
