The City of Clovis and Curry County are updating the Curry County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMAP or Plan). The Plan will address natural and human-caused hazards that affect the area. The goal of the Plan is to minimize or eliminate the long-term risk to human life and property from known hazards through effective mitigation.
Hazard Mitigation Plans must be updated and approved by FEMA every 5 years to remain eligible for grant funds through FEMA's hazard mitigation assistance program. An approved HMAP also earns application scoring points for a variety of other grant programs.
Public participation in this survey and / or attendance to the public meetings will provide the planning team valuable information that will be used in the development of the HMAP and educate the planning team's approach.
Estimated time to complete: 6 minutes. Thank you in advance for your time and contributions.
SURVEY WILL CLOSE OCTOBER 30, 2026
