County Manager Lance Pyle Re-Elected as Secretary of the New Mexico Retiree Healthcare Authority Board

Curry County Manager Lance Pyle was unanimously re-elected to serve a one-year term as Secretary of the New Mexico Retiree Healthcare Authority (NMRHCA) Board of Directors during the Board's meeting on July 16 in Las Vegas, New Mexico.

Pyle serves as the representative for New Mexico Counties, advocating on behalf of county employees across the state.

The NMRHCA Board is comprised of 11 members representing public employers throughout New Mexico, including counties, municipalities, state agencies, and educational institutions. The Authority provides health insurance coverage for approximately 48,000 retirees and 64,000 retirees and their dependents, supported by contributions from approximately 94,000 active employees, including 3,583 active county employees.

The New Mexico Retiree Healthcare Authority administers an annual operating budget of approximately $423M and oversees total investment assets of approximately $2.1B.
