The Board of County Commissioners for Curry County, State of New Mexico is requesting competitive sealed proposals for the Additions and Renovations to the Historic Curry County Courthouse.
To be responsive, One (1) original and five (5) identical copies of the proposal and one (1) electronic version on a USB “memory Stick” must be received no later than October 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time at the Curry County Administration Office, located at 417 Gidding Street, Suite 100, Clovis, NM 88101.
Those interested in viewing the Proposal Documents which are: Instructions to Offerors, bidding forms, and other contract documents, including plans, project manual and addenda to be used in connection with the submission of proposals, should contact Albuquerque Reprographics, Inc at (505) 884-0862 where all documents and the current plan holder list may be viewed at no cost. Hard copies and/or print quality pdf formatted electronic copies of these documents may be purchased here as well. Academy Reprographics may also be in person at 8900-N San Mateo NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87113. Proposal documents may also be viewed at locations as listed on page 3 of the Request for Proposal.
Bidders are advised that the following is included in the contract:
1) Liquidated damage clause.
2) State Wage Rates.
3) Public Works and Apprenticeship and Training Act.
4) Preference applicable to qualified Contractors as set forth in 13-1-21 NMSA.
5) Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall be required from the Prime Contractor.
Performance and Payment Bonds will also be required of all subcontractors whose bids are $125,000 or more.
6) Contractors and all tiers of subcontractors whose bids are $50,000 or more must be registered with the Labor & Industrial Division of the New Mexico Labor Department.
7) A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at the Curry County Administration Office, 417 Gidding Street, Suite 100, Clovis, NM 88101. A tour of the project site will follow the meeting.
RFP’s must be submitted in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked:
“RFP No No. 2021/22-02—Do Not Open” along with the Offeror’s name and address.
Curry County reserves the right (1) to award proposal(s) received individually or in whole: (2) to reject any or all proposals, or any part thereof, (3) to waive any or all technicalities or irregularities in the proposal(s) and (4) to accept the proposal(s) that is deemed most advantageous to the County. Failure to submit requested information/documentation or the submission of incorrect information/documentation may result in disqualification of the proposal.
