Senior Volunteers

Are you 55 years of age or older and a resident of Curry County? Would you like to connect with others, share your years of experience, and make an impact within your community? We have an AmeriCorps Seniors volunteer position for you. Whatever your experience, ability, or amount of time you have to donate, your community needs you!

Life is a series of moments, and if you’re an older adult seeking fulfillment, new skills, and human connection, this might be your moment to volunteer.  You’ve already seized your own moments to experience life’s great joys, accomplish impressive things, and build meaningful relationships.  Now is the time to hone your talents, harness your passions, and embrace your opportunity to make a difference. By volunteering with AmeriCorps Seniors, you can support people in times of need and make your community stronger. You can be a companion to your older neighbors by keeping them socially engaged with friendship. You can even become a mentor for young people, serving as a role model and enriching their lives. When volunteers seize their moments, incredible things happen.
